We are all confused!

Hemp CBD and Marijuana CBD both come from the Cannabaceae family of flowering plants. They are both considered cannabis plants.

The key difference in the plants is the amount of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

Marijuana is known as the plant that gets you high as it contains more than 0.3% THC. In many cases, much more!

Hemp contains 0.3% or less THC. It is unlikely to get you high but could cause a light euphoria. And Hemp is very rich in CBD as seen in products such as tinctures, gummies, or capsules.

Hemp has been in use for hundreds of years. It is used to also make rope, clothes, sails, food, paper, concrete, diapers, etc. Hemp is an amazing substance and we are just now starting to see the medicinal usages for it as well. Even though, science hasn’t caught up to this fact yet.

Unlike Marijuana, Hemp can be grown legally across most of the US.
